Peer endorsement… I’ve had the privilege of knowing Richard Moat for many years. He is one of the most sincere, talented and passionate individuals I have ever come across. His work is changing lives.” Dr Mark Atkinson, Medical Doctor & Founder of the Academy of Human Potential
“Absolutely amazing! I just wish I had done this at the other end of my medical career. For years I’ve been constantly studying, putting new tools into my medical knowledge and I think in many ways I’ve learned more in one weekend with Richard than in 40 years in traditional medicine". About Richard Since his father’s cancer diagnosis in 1994, Richard has dedicated his professional life to studying the connection between our thoughts, feelings and physical health. His life’s work – named ‘Moativational Medicine’™ after his father Barry - is grounded in the principles of metaphysics, the practice of energy psychology, the science of mind-body medicine and the art of releasing human potential. Study that straddled The British College of Integrated Medicine and the Academy of Lifestyle Medicine in the UK has helped establish Richard as a credible and widely consulted authority on exactly how thoughts and feelings affect our health. His unceasing research over the last 17 years has proven what Harvard Medical School and The American Centres for Disease Control and Prevention reported in 2005, namely, that approximately 85% of all physical illnesses have their roots in “emotional mismanagement”. In 2006 his expertise was sought by the BBC to spearhead their at-the-time ground-breaking approach to looking at physical illness from an emotional point of view. His ground-breaking book on weight loss ‘Worth the Weight, It’s An Emotional Thing’ helped bring attention to the importance of addressing the emotional aspects of weight gain, exploding the myth that weight problems are caused primarily by diet, exercise or genetics. His powerful guided visualisations were featured at the launch of the on-line ‘Masters Channel’ this year, and he is the creator of what is believed to be the most extensive on-line collection of the emotional causes of physical illnesses anywhere in the world. |
