The Art of Health Enews

'Moativational Medicine'

'Moativational Medicine’ is a set of strategies devised by its founder, Richard Moat, to help people identify and clear the root cause of physical pain and mental or emotional symptoms.

All the exercises are very hands-on and practical, designed to created lasting, positive change at a fundamental level. Often the techniques are referred to as ‘energy psychology’ because they work by clearing the trapped emotional and mental energy in the body which lie at the core of physical symptoms. They therefore address the whole person and all levels of a person’s being, ie, mental, emotional, spiritual and physical, because we need to take all these aspects into account if we wish true lasting healing to occur

Within the suite of techniques offered by ‘Moativational Medicine’ are a number of very specific exercises designed to address specific issues. For example, there are exercises for clearing anxiety, hurt, shame, guilt, fear, hurt, stress and various other emotional traumas or experiences.

There are also specific exercises for healing parental traumas and issues with family members or relationships.

There are exercises to help us be more open and receptive to receiving love, or creating more success and abundance in life.

There are exercises for helping us get in touch with our inner wisdom so that we can find the answers we are seeking from the inside, because the answers are always inside if we know how to find them.

If we have parts of ourselves which we feel disconnected from, or feel we have overly negative tendencies, for example, we are overly pessimistic or fearful, we can bring balance and harmony to these lost or disassociated parts of ourselves.

And there are exercises for specifically helping to understand the root cause of any pain or symptom, whether it be mental or physical. The body is far too intelligent to make mistakes and there are always reasons for symptoms, if we know how to uncover the real reason.

The great thing about all these exercises are that they are designed to be inherently safe; you do not have to re-live or even remember the original trauma to get well. They are cleverly designed to get to the root of the problem as quickly and painlessly as possible.

I was one of the first practitioners in New Zealand to train with Richard Moat, and also one of the first to undertake his 1 year Master Classes and comprehensive 4 year professional Advocate Training Program.

Sessions can be conducted in person or remotely via phone / skype.

“I have come to know Kim Knight and her work since arriving in New Zealand in 2009. As a student and practitioner of the Moativational Medicine™ model, she continues to demonstrate a commendable commitment to learning, sharing and applying its philosophy, art, science and practice. This, when combined with her other disciplines and training, perhaps explains why she receives the client testimonials that she does. She is a very dedicated and, in my opinion, well-rounded professional in the fields of health and wellbeing.”

Consultations are available in person or remotely via phone / skype, and are equally effective by distance. This means that distance is no object to recovery, and you can do the therapy from the comfort of your own home. How great is that?!

What can I expect?

The first session is normally 90 minutes. Follow-on sessions are usually 60 minutes.

Most clients need just a few sessions though every client will differ.

You will be asked to keep notes about frequency and situations when symptoms arise and given other activities to work on outside of sessions. The therapy is very much a team effort between yourself and your therapist.
